About Ahaan

I’m Ahaan Chakrabarty! I graduated with an IB44 and am studying environmental engineering at UBC. Passionate about STEM and sustainability, I aspire to become a change-maker and inspire other students to do the same. I have 12 years of experience in international schools, leading global events and presenting two TEDx talks to foster inquiry in science and education. I also enjoy playing sports and performing music. I tailor my sessions based on my students’ needs. I help you develop exam-taking skills by working on past-paper questions and developing creative personal resources like mnemonic devices. I aim to facilitate a supportive learning space where we can fulfill your potential and accomplish our goals.

Each lesson will aim to achieve specific goals. I enjoy working on past IB exam questions so you recognize the format and possible questions you might see, not only helping you understand the material but also developing exam-taking strategies. I want to make students feel comfortable, asking questions and working on challenging areas to ultimately fulfill their potential.
