About Olivia
Hello! My name is Olivia, I am 21 years old and currently pursuing my law degree at the University of Johannesburg. My hobbies include reading, writing (I'm working on a novel), guitar, dance and netball. I also enjoy learning new languages so I'm learning Japanese with goals to learn Mandarin and French in the near future.
About your lesson
My approach to teaching is focused on catering lessons to each student to help them in problem areas. Sessions will include new vocabulary, listening, reading, and grammar activities to create a well rounded lesson. I also incorporate free-speaking question-answer situations to grow the students confident in using their own knowledge in a normal conversation.

1. Why did you become a tutor?
I used to hate asking questions in class because I was afraid I would sound stupid which meant I had to do a lot of self-studying. This showed me how important it is to have private sessions with a person who explains things in a way that is understandable to you.
