I am a student who has achieved success across various fields, reflecting a wide range of experiences. Academically, I scored a 42 in the IB, demonstrating my dedication to learning. This achievement is bolstered by my participation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics Olympiads, where I honed my scientific thinking and problem-solving skills. Outside academics, I excelled as MVP on the soccer team, developing teamwork and leadership. I also won first place in a plant-growing competition, connecting with nature, and reached the semi-finals of the WSDL, where I sharpened my critical thinking and communication. In the arts, I played the lead role of Freddy in School of Rock, enhancing my creativity. As president of multiple engineering clubs, I gained hands-on knowledge and project management skills. About your lesson
My lesson style is highly personalized and structured. I create custom files for each lesson (IB, IGCSE,) tailored specifically to the topic. This allowed me to ensure that every point is covered thoroughly and clearly (all my students recommended me this as well). I focus on clear explanations, and I include examples, questions (past papers, questions on various preparation websites) , and key takeaways in each file to reinforce learning. Upon confirming a lesson, I first teach the core concepts of the curriculum to ensure understanding before moving on to problem-solving. Each week, I create a test to assess the students' progress. Based on the incorrect answers, we revisit and review the weak areas. For Internal Assessments (IA), I plan and solve them step-by-step, guiding students through each stage. I currently tutor four students and have been tutoring for four months. I offer lessons in English, Korean and Chinese.
