About Keira

Hi, my name is Keira! I graduated from the IBDP in M24 and an International School, and am now studying at SILS in Waseda University, where I am majoring in International Relations! I am very passionate about Psychology; I got 9A*s in IGCSE Psychology, and a 7 in IBDP Psychology. Alongside my studies during my IB years, I was on my school's Volleyball team, Writer for the Student-Led Magazine, and I did horse riding, among other things. Although I may be tutoring a specific subject, I am also more than happy to offer advice on EE, TOK, CAS, University Applications as well as other subjects. I am here to help YOU do your very best!

About your lesson

When approaching tutoring subjects like Psychology or Literature I ensure to focus on the student's ability to tackle the exam, in addition to their coursework - as oftentimes exam strategies is a topic to understand on its own! However, my sessions are always orientated toward the student's goals; whether it be understanding course content in a more simple and concise manner, essay writing strategies, approaching the Internal Assessment, exam strategies, etc. I have a set of well-curated notes and exemplar responses that I will be willing to share on top of the live sessions. I hope to create a fun learning environment where students can thrive, and to find ways to make the subject feel less intimidating and daunting :)!
