About Diego

I was myself an IB student until this year where I graduated with 7s in Physics HL, and Chemistry HL. I am now doing my engineering degree at the University of Southampton where I will specialise in spacecraft engineering. I have been tutoring for over a year a wide range of students (IB, MYP, and local high school in Switzerland) while I was finishing my own IBDP. I am currently involved in several rocket engine design projects at my university that I love to talk about. I'm passionate about space exploration, so it comes as no surprise that I love a good sci-fi tv show or book. I'm also a big history nerd and someone who loves to learn new things. About your lesson

While I adapt to every student depending on their needs I can also come up with lessons plans of my own if you are unsure where to start. Our first lesson will mostly be aimed at assessing where you are academically, and most importantly where you want to be. I always teach in a goal-oriented way, I want that what we do in each lesson pushes you closer to your academic objectives. It will also help me understand what kind of student you are, because approaches vary depending on how you learn. We are not all the same, but we can all learn effectively if we know how to approach the material, and my method focuses on just that. I will expand my availability during the M25 exam season (to include weekends and more slots during the week, if my schedule allows it) for extra classes and pre-exam prep sessions.
